The client, who signs the contract, acknowledges and agrees that Rhema Makeup will provide services to the best of their abilities and the client's acceptance of the completed makeup serves as their indication that the makeup has been done to their satisfaction. This agreement represents the comprehensive understanding between both parties, and any alterations or changes to the contract must be in writing, signed by both parties, and physically attached to the original agreement. The client accepts responsibility for all costs related to collection and legal fees in the event that the terms of this contract are violated and enforcement becomes necessary.
The client understands and agrees that all brushes, tools, and makeup products used by the artist will be kept sanitary and sanitized between each makeup application. It is important for the client to report any allergies or skin conditions prior to the application. By doing so, the client acknowledges and releases the artist from any liability for skin complications that may arise due to allergic reactions. This ensures that the artist takes necessary precautions and provides a safe environment, but the client assumes responsibility for any preexisting allergies or skin conditions.
Booking
In order to secure a specific date, a signed contract is required along with a 20% deposit. It should be noted that the deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable once it is made at the time of signing the contract. Please be aware that the date and scheduled makeup times will only be reserved once the contract and deposit have been received and processed.
When reserving a date, it is crucial to book appointments accordingly, taking into consideration the necessary time for each makeup session. To fulfill the terms of the contract, everyone involved in the makeup appointments must be available at the scheduled time of the appointment in order to avoid any breach of the contract. This ensures that the makeup artist can provide the agreed-upon services within the designated time frame.
Cancellation Policy
When booking your appointment, you will be required to make a 20% deposit, which will be applied as a credit towards your scheduled session. We understand that circumstances may arise requiring you to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
To avoid any inconvenience, please notify us at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. In such cases, your deposit will either be refunded or applied towards a future appointment. However, if you provide less than 24 hours' notice, a $25 cancellation fee will be charged. Please note that if you arrive more than 20 minutes late for your appointment, it will be considered a no-show and the cancellation fee will be applied.
Additional Fees
DELAYS
In the event that a client is late for the scheduled time or if the makeup session exceeds the allotted time due to client delays, a late fee of $15 will be charged for every 15 minutes of delay. The contract will specify when the late fees will be applicable, the amount charged, and this clause will require the client's digital signature and approval. This ensures that punctuality is respected and that the makeup artist's time is valued.
TRAVEL & ACCOMMODATION
All expenses related to travel to the booked event, including but not limited to airfare, transfers, hotel accommodations, transportation, parking, and applicable taxes, are the responsibility of the client. The client will be responsible for covering these costs in addition to the agreed-upon fees for the makeup services.
Car parking fees or toll fees may be included in the final bill for the services provided. The exact amount of these fees will be specified in the contract, and they will be included in the total payment due on the day of the event. By specifying this in the contract, it ensures that the client is aware of and agrees to the financial obligations associated with the makeup artist's travel arrangements.
TRIAL MAKEUPS
A trial makeup service is available for clients who have already contracted for other services that do not include a trial. This trial makeup is a separate service and incurs an additional fee, which is due once the trial service is rendered. It is important to note that if a client arrives more than 15 minutes late for their appointment, the appointment may be cancelled or late fees of $15 will be applied to the final bill.
To avoid any issues, the client is requested to call at least one day in advance to reschedule the trial makeup appointment. This allows for proper scheduling and ensures that both the client and makeup artist can make the most of the trial session.
