The client acknowledges and agrees that by paying the required 20% non-refundable deposit, they are accepting and agreeing to all terms and conditions outlined in this contract. Rhema Makeup will provide services to the best of their ability, and the client’s acceptance of the completed hair and/or makeup service serves as confirmation that the services were performed to their satisfaction.
This agreement represents the full understanding between both parties. Any changes or modifications to this contract must be made in writing, signed by both parties, and attached to the original agreement.
The client agrees to be responsible for any collection costs or legal fees incurred should enforcement of this agreement become necessary.
The client understands and agrees that all brushes, tools, and makeup products used by the artist are sanitized and maintained according to proper hygiene standards between each application. Clients must inform the artist of any allergies, sensitivities, or skin conditions prior to the service. By proceeding with the service, the client releases the artist from liability for any allergic reactions, skin irritation, or complications that may arise.
Photo & Video Use
Before-and-after photos and/or videos may be taken during the appointment and shared with the client for personal reference. By consenting to photography and videography, the client grants Rhema Makeup the right to use and publish these images/videos on social media platforms, websites, portfolios, marketing materials, and other promotional purposes unless otherwise requested in writing prior to the appointment.
Booking
To reserve and secure your event date, a non-refundable and non-transferable 20% booking deposit is required. By submitting the deposit, the client agrees to all terms and conditions outlined in this contract. The deposit will be applied toward the final balance of the scheduled services. Bookings are considered confirmed only after the deposit has been received and processed.
Clients are responsible for ensuring adequate time is allocated for all booked services. All individuals receiving services must be present, ready, and available at their scheduled appointment times to avoid delays that may affect the schedule or services provided.
Cancellation Policy
If cancellation or rescheduling is necessary, clients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice. With proper notice, the deposit may be transferred to a future appointment or refunded at the artist’s discretion.
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a $25 cancellation fee. Clients arriving more than 20 minutes late may be considered a no-show, and cancellation fees may apply.
Additional Fees:
If the client is late or if services run beyond the scheduled timeframe due to client-related delays, a late fee of $15 will be charged for every additional 15 minutes.
All travel-related expenses associated with the booked event, including but not limited to airfare, hotel accommodations, parking, tolls, transportation, transfers, and applicable taxes, are the responsibility of the client.
Any parking or toll fees incurred by the artist will be added to the final invoice and are payable on the day of the event.
Trial hair and/or makeup services are available for clients who have booked event services. Trial appointments are considered separate services and require additional payment at the time of the appointment.
To reschedule a trial appointment, clients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice.
Final Payment & Accepted Methods
The remaining balance for all services is due on the day of the event as a single payment. Any gratuity is optional and may be added at the client’s discretion. Accepted payment methods include cash and e-transfer. PayPal is accepted for international clients only. Cheques are not accepted.
